Navigating the early days - together.
Morning Nest is weekday morning mental health group for parents of babies up to 12 months. It brings together sensory activities to keep your little one engaged, while you get the chance to talk about the important stuff. Guided by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

An enriching space for you and bubs.
Morning Nest is a place to be held and seen while so much is shifting: your days, your sleep, your relationships, even your sense of who you are.
Led by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, it’s more than a session. It’s a group of parents in the thick of the first year together, sharing the real stories, picking up practical tools and finding some steadiness in each other’s company.
There’s something healing about hearing another parent say ‘me too’. Here, you’re not the only one finding it hard, and you don’t have to hold it all on your own.
Morning Nest provides sensory activities for your baby on our giant mellow mat, so you can focus on the conversations that matter.
What to expect.
Each morning mixes two things.
Baby Sensory:
Your baby explores sensory activities set up on our giant mellow mat: textures, sounds, light and movement. We bring out toys and materials that they can explore, while you get a chance to talk about how you are feeling.
Therapeutic Support and Collective Healing:
Alongside that, there's time for you: honest conversation, practical tools for the hard moments, and other parents who know exactly what your week has looked like. There is so much focus on whether or not your baby is thriving during the early days, that sometimes we forget that we should be held and cared for too. Morning Nest is a space exactly for that.
Come as you are:
Feeding, crying, sleeping and leaving early are all completely fine. We know how hard it is to get time for you in your week, so this is a space where you and your bub can come as you are.
Snacks and Coffee on tap:
A Morning hang out is nothing without coffee and snacks. Come and fill up and get your caffeine and sugar hit while you chat.

Meet Eva
Eva Hewitson is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and co-founder of Parentkind, with more than 15 years working in mental health. She is trained in ACT, DBT skills, EMDR, COPE perinatal practice and attachment-based sleep support.
Eva leads our Morning Nest groups. She believes parents need room to breathe: space to get to know their baby, to find their way back to each other, and to be held by a village of their own. She also knows the road isn’t a straight line.
A mum of two, she brings her own lived experience of parenthood to her work, and she cares about the wider pressures that make early parenthood harder than it needs to be. Her focus is simple: families who feel supported, connected and less alone.
